Early in my career as a musician I developed a passion for composition, recording technology and the guitar. The music on Lifeline and Cloud Chorus represents my way of bringing all of these together at a time when I felt the need to establish some sort of voice as an artist. The work grew from my time making demos on a 4-track portastudio in Boston and Berlin as well as countless hours playing acoustic guitar in the Boston subway system. From this, I learned the value of making the most from limited technical resources. Traveling has always been a passion of mine, and the work on both records reflects the spirit of adventure, curiosity, and discovery that I have experienced. All of these values continue to inspire me as I explore the possibilities of electronic music and live performance.
